I would say creation and tuning gum is better. After you RDA without normal summoning you can special summon creation and then normal summon gum. It gives your nova and atleast 1 protection from cards like karma cut or harpie bounce.

Try to get 3 crimson resonators, 2 red resonators, and 3 resonator call, pretty much an 80% chance to open a resonator at that point. If you want to play Red Nova Dragon then add Tuning Gum, should help you make it more often.
