  2. I use a red LED headlight. I don’t bother turning on my normal safelight any more. The light is wherever I want. The head light has a white LED and a red LED . A red only LED has its spectrum well in the safe area as it has a narrow spectrum unlike filtered tungsten.

  3. I use an LED bulb for safelight, but make sure you test for fogging anyway. While a red LED is most likely safe, a lot of “red” led bulbs are in fact white leds with red filters.
