So I purchased some LED strip lights, the multicolored kind, because I wanted to see if they would work as a safelight. Turns out they do! However mine, as they were a cheap amazon product, started to flicker different colors and ruined several prints. Anybody else used LED lights as a safelight?
I use an LED bulb for safelight, but make sure you test for fogging anyway. While a red LED is most likely safe, a lot of “red” led bulbs are in fact white leds with red filters.

Red LED safelight? B&W Printing. Does anyone have experience using just a plain red led bulb as a safelight? I'm setting up my first home darkroom and I find it a little absurd that the cheapest option on b and h is a $20 bulb, I'd much rather use that money on paper or chems.
