This is difficult to answer because there are many different types of red bulbs. Do a test. Set up your light, if it seems bright, bounce it off of a ceiling or wall. Take out a small piece of photo paper and set it on the counter (protect the rest of the pack of paper from the light). Place a coin on the paper.
