The Red Bank battlefield was right on the Delaware River with many picturesque views. Several monuments and original house dating well over 200 years ago. Wonderful place to walk, take in some history and enjoy some beauty of the Garden state on the Delaware.

Red Bank Gloucester County's one and only historical park, the Red Bank Battlefield Park, was the site of the Hessian attack on Fort Mercer that occurred on October 22, 1777. The battlefield today hosts the James and Ann Whitall house that offers regular tours and programs that focus on the history of the park.
