To work out your child’s sleep needs, refer to the table above and count back from the time your child has to get up on a weekday. For example, if your child is 11 years old (recommended sleep need is around 9-11 hours) and has to be up for school at 7.00am, their bedtime should be between 8.00pm and 10.00pm.
