Toddlers (aged 1-2 years) need 11-14 hours of sleep. Preschool children (aged 3-5 years) need 10-13 hours of sleep. School-age children (aged 6-12 years) need 9-12 hours of sleep. Teenagers (aged 13-18 years) need 8-10 hours of sleep. Adults (aged 18-64 years) need 7-9 hours of sleep.
