2 dni temu · The recoil was easy for a new shooter and got me thinking. What is a more modern 9mm pistol, that has low recoil and better suited for new shooters. If recoil is the issue I would be looking at something with a full frame and weight behind it. Sig just introduced a new 320 called the SXG which is all steel, might work for you.
13 sty 2020 · Your best bet is the two suggestions mentioned here. For the range, learn to reload. .40 cal was the second caliber I started reloading back when .40 was more expensive, and I've developed some practice loads that will rival even soft 9mm rounds all day long in recoil. For self defense, I wouldn't trust the "powder puff" loads. Switch to 9mm.
If the Outer Diameter is too small, the spring may grind against the recoil guide rod. Check your pistol's recoil assembly to get an idea of what size of spring would fit. 27 lip 2013 · In order to fit a pre-Gen4 guide rod into a Gen4 pistol, you will need a bushing to adapt the guide rod to the larger opening in the front of the Gen4 slide: (GEN4 Recoil Assembly Adapter Ring), or (Glock Warehouse - Product Detail - ZEV Recoil Spring Retaining Washer - $4.00).
28 kwi 2024 · The only reason one would need to change it is to accommodate a specific load for something such as competition, or adjust the spring weight for modifications such as running a comp. The guide rod only serves to keep the recoil spring from binding during recoil, it’s not a load bearing or stress member in the gun.
