I had heard that the Reckoner stems were put out to the public by Radiohead around the time of release, so I searched for them on google. I found a reddit thread that had that Dropbox link in it.
People will put this in the top 5 of the best Radiohead songs, and I just don't understand why. Along with HTDC, a song that perfectly captures the sadness and burnout the band experienced during the OK computer tour.
Reckoner by Radiohead. discussion. 19 year old music enthusiast here. I’ve been doing a bit of a deeper dive into Radiohead lately, specifically In Rainbows. One song has captivated me, that being Reckoner. It sounds so heavenly, almost as if I’m somehow ascending in some way.
In Rainbows as a whole feels like the perfect Radiohead album to me. I can really feel how every album prior built up to it and you can feel pieces of all of them in it.
