The Reaver Shark is a pickaxe that can mine any blocks weaker than Hellstone, Demonite or Crimtane ores. On it can also mine Hellstone. It is one the fastest pre-hardmode pickaxes for many materials. It is attained by fishing in the Ocean with a Reinforced Fishing Pole or better.

You should only be able to spawn one of the mini bosses at a time (eidolon wyrm, reaper shark), and the other creatures will despawn with the audio cue that signals it’s about to show up. go to the last layer and wait, they are quite rare. I'm having this problem too.
2 maj 2020 · By limiting the Reaver Shark to being a Crimson/Corruption rod and up item, the item goes from being able to skip all tiers of pre hardmode picks, to being able to skip Hellstone and also potentially Deathbringer tier pickaxes.
