The Reaver Shark is a pickaxe that can mine any blocks weaker than Hellstone, Demonite or Crimtane ores. On it can also mine Hellstone. It is one the fastest pre-hardmode pickaxes for many materials. It is attained by fishing in the Ocean with a Reinforced Fishing Pole or better.
The Reaver Shark is relatively easy to obtain. A Reinforced Fishing Pole with some bait is all that is needed. Sonar Potions can be created using ingredients found near the Ocean and are very helpful too. Trivia. It bears some visual resemblance to a hammerhead shark.

12 kwi 2017 · The Reaver Shark has 100% 59% Pickaxe Power and it can mine all pre-Hardmode ores (Hellstone included) and the first tier of Hardmode ores, Cobalt and Palladium (thanks to RBreaper and MysticSpanner for pointing that out!).

It's a pickaxe that can mine all the easy mode ores, and the beginning hard mode ores, and can be acquired from the very beginning of the game. It can be obtained by fishing in the ocean, with a 1:50 chance of getting it with 100 fishing power. Share.
