You should only be able to spawn one of the mini bosses at a time (eidolon wyrm, reaper shark), and the other creatures will despawn with the audio cue that signals it’s about to show up. go to the last layer and wait, they are quite rare. I'm having this problem too.
Good sea creature mods for 1.12.2. I need something that will fill the oceans, I tried mo creatures but the spawning broke and nothing worked. Not really *really* looking for ocean mods, just mob mods in general, just ones that include fish, sharks and whales. yeah just anything along those lines.
