18 paź 2024 · The Isle of Man, famous as the ‘mecca of motorcycle road racing’ has since 1955 hosted a mass-start road race every July, The Southern 100 Road Races, so called as the feature race of the event was held over a race distance of 100 miles – 24 laps of the 4.25-mile Billown Course.
Since the first race on Thursday 14 th July 1955, the 350cc won by Derek Ennett a total of 604 races have been run over the Billown Course, including 145 Sidecar races, with 108,749 racing laps completed, a racing distance of 461,911.520 miles at the end of the 2022 meeting.p>. FUTURE DATES.
7 lip 2024 · Southern 100 competition opens tomorrow evening, with opening timed qualifying sessions. Fifteen races are intended to take place including of course, the coveted Solo Championship, won most recently by Senior TT winner, Milwaukee BMW’s Davey Todd.
The Southern 100 is a motorcycle road racing event held on the Isle of Man in July of each year. The event was first held in 1955, with three races for different classes of solo motorcycles; the 2015 calendar included twelve races for various classes. [3]

9 lip 2024 · The new look Tuesday racing itinerary includes five qualifying contests and two races, six-lap, five-lap Senior, Lightweight race voyages. 2024 Southern 100 – Tuesday 9th July itinerary, issued at 9:15 AM, reads as follows: 6:05 PM – Roads close. 6:18-6:28 PM – 1100cc qualifying.
