Construction wise they use the same philosophy, in addition to how the MGEX SF is built. Aesthetic wise, the RG 2.0 is quite unique. It pulls almost nothing from the PGU aesthetic, and does not share much with any prior RX-78-2 interpretations. I wonder who designed this.

I built the standard 2.0 MG RX78-2 in 2008, and to this day it is my favorite MG RX78-2. I love it so much, i tracked down most of the variants. In my backlog I have the RX78-1, G3, real type color G-armor bundle, as well as the Blue Full armor.
