First thing before anyone questions why this isn't in the Submarine section, it's 'cos it is a simple model designed to tempt modelers who have never intentionally tried to dive their creations underwater. Early in 2020 I found myself incarcerated at home courtesy of our Governments viral lock-down.

5 lis 2021 · I've always been drawn to the design of the German Type II U-boat. There was something about its compact shape and triple bow torpedo tube arrangement that I found really cool. I began gathering some documentation and plans to produce the hull in late 2016.

18 lis 2004 · RC Submarines - Revell VllC U-boat RC conversion - Well after getting all my RC jets finished and flown I decided to take a break and build a sub. This is my first. always wanted to build one and I plan a larger scratch built sub next after I learn a few things from this one.
12 wrz 2019 · RC Submarines - German Type VII U-boat submarine (dive/re-surface demo) - Filmed at Southern Model Show in Headcorn, Kent, UK. I find these models fascinating. Not only super realistic in appearance but superbly driven and demonstrated to an appreciative crowd at the show.

Started the build in Sept 2014 [wow - over 2yrs already!] and reckon I have another 18 months to go as I'm adding a few scratch built parts here and there.
