29 sty 2013 · The mAh (milliamp-hour) rating of a battery pack tells you how much energy the pack can store. The C rating tells you how fast you can use the energy without damaging the pack. There's also (usually) a second C rating which tells you how fast you can recharge the pack. The C rating is a multiplier for the mAh rating.
In short the C rating signifies the maximum continuous output that the battery can maintain. Strictly speaking the C value multiplied by the capacity is the maximum continuous current output which we measure in Amps. The best way to describe this is to give examples: 1500mah battery x 30C = 45,000mA = 45 Amps maximum continuous output.
So what exactly is the lipo C rating? In plain English, the C rating is how much current the battery can deliver. Usually, the C rating will be expressed as two numbers separated by a slash, like 45/90 or 65/130. The first number denotes the constant current it can deliver.
29 wrz 2024 · The C rating is a crucial factor in determining the performance of a LiPo battery, as it indicates the battery’s maximum continuous discharge rate. Below is a list of recommended LiPo battery brands and suggested C rating options for various applications.
What is a C-Rating on a LiPo Battery? C-Rating is an indicator of the continuous discharge rate of a LiPo. It allows users to easily calculate the maximum constant current you can draw from the LiPo pack safely without harming the battery.
22 lip 2024 · Discharge Rate (C Rating) The C rating of a LiPo battery indicates the maximum current it can safely discharge and is expressed as a multiple of the battery’s capacity. For instance, a 5000mAh battery with a 25C rating can theoretically discharge at a maximum of 125A (5000mAh x 25 = 125,000mA or 125A).
