4 maj 2017 · I've seen a lot converting their glow engines running gas fuel. I know for the fact that the power would be less. How less? What would I need to run my OS .46 FX with gas fuel? Aside from spark plug and ignition system? Do I have to re-thread the plug placement? How about spacers?
23 sie 2022 · Converting to gas from glow is changing a carburation setting from extremely voracious to extremely sparse: 125 cc glo will last some 15 min, 125 of gas will last more than one whole hour ! Cost of gas is peanuts, cost of glo fuel is platinum. No more killing your bearings with gas.
29 cze 2011 · I thought I would try to put together a glow to gas conversion chart from what I've read on RCU. I know some will say it's not possible, too many variables such as engine mfg., torque, pull, etc. but in general I think it would be useful to folks (especially newbies to gassers like me) to have some kind of reference even if it's only "approximate".

9 gru 2016 · If nobody can point you to a ready-made table, you can look up the power of the glow motor you want to replace (it's usually quoted in horsepower) and convert it to watts (1hp = 746 watts) to find an electric equivalent.
5 cze 2023 · Not so sure where you have been reading about difficulties regarding conversion to gasoline. There are certain areas that need attention and a few new techniques to sharpen up but today it is indeed very easy to convert a glow engine to spark ignition.
