I've ridden a stock Sting and a stock Surron., The Sting is much better. The DNM volcano forks are Garbage, but you can upgrade to Fastace which is better, or Manitou Dorado which are pissa.. obviously the price goes up significantly with the Manitou..
Rawrr Mantis thoughts? I haven't seen almost any info on the Mantis in the last year. It seems to be a high-quality build with similar power/speed as a talaria, but it’s more expensive than all the other bikes of that speed. I assume this is because it’s got a high build quality by I’m not sure.

15 cze 2024 · Surron Lightbee X. Pros: Established dealer network, lots of aftermarket options, good for dirt jump and BMX style riding, improved suspension. Cons: Underpowered, outdated brakes and ergonomics, small and less comfortable for larger riders. Rawrr Mantis. Pros: Larger feel, decent initial power, stiff suspension.
Ares is more of an Ultra Bee Competitor. I would buy a Talaria R over the Mantis. The Surron is still king for those that need to be a little more incognito around town like myself.
29 gru 2010 · I still think the two big Mantis drawbacks are the 1) unsupported headtube. There is a hell of a lot of stress in that frame w/o a downtube. So either its heavier than it needs to be to handle it or taking bigger drops will eventually break it. 2) direct drive.
