1 mar 2024 · IL-amine-water systems provides tailored solvation behavior and enhanced CO 2 absorption efficiency, while the IL-organic solvent-water systems offer tunable polarity, improved solvation power, and reduced viscosity, among other properties, depending on the specific organic solvent utilized.
1 gru 2021 · Water balance can be achieved by employing a simple water wash after absorber and regulating water wash temperature according to flue gas temperature, CO 2 concentration, and CO 2 removal efficiency. Simple water wash reduces monoethanolamine (MEA) emission from absorber (215–425 mg/m 3) to a level below 5 mg/m 3.
2 mar 2023 · Our results showed that many water infrastructures such as dams at reservoirs, water supply and treatment systems and subsurface mines have been impacted or are at risk from military actions.
The purpose of this thesis is to determine the feasibility of carbon capture and stor-age by absorption of CO 2 in water, followed by conversion to HCO – 3 for storage in oceans or as solid material. To fulfill the aim, heat and material balances are made withasimulationsoftwareforintegrationofthecapturetechnologywithfiveindustrial cases.
12 gru 2022 · Processes for absorption, gas–solid reaction, adsorption, cryogenic processes, membrane processes and the capture of carbon dioxide with natural inclusion were examined in more detail. Discover the latest articles, news and stories from top researchers in related subjects.
11 maj 2021 · Owing to the large diversity of adsorbents, water plays many different roles from a severe inhibitor of CO 2 adsorption to an excellent promoter. Water may also increase the rate of CO 2 capture or have the opposite effect. In the presence of amine-containing adsorbents, water is even necessary for their long-term stability.
13 gru 2013 · It reviews the studies related to the absorption and desorption kinetics, mass-transfer rates, effect of the contactor geometry, effect of water salinity, and the effects of temperature and pressure on the process in conventional reactors or the more recently common membrane contactors.
