3 maj 2023 · The RareScanner addon allows you to track rare NPCs, treasures, and events using your map, a special explorer window, and alerts that pop up when a tracked NPC or event is detected nearby. The addon makes it easy to find missing items from your collections.
RareScanner is designed to help you track every rare NPC/treasure/event in the game, but usually you will be more interested in finding NPCs that drop useful loot, like missing mounts or pets that you want to add to your collection.
14 kwi 2024 · I use RareScanner. My only two minor gripes are that it can list loot drops that aren’t unique to the rare, like 0.12% epic world drop BoEs, without indicating the drop chance or likeliness/uniqueness to that particular mob.

24 gru 2018 · When I was putting my UI / addons together, I noticed NPCScan didnt have a list of all the rares (only the BC / WoTLK world rares) and I remembered having to make my own custom list back in the day. Well, I've done it again and I wish to share it with all of you.
Basically open the Explorer, select in the Filters dropdown "Drop missing mounts", deselect everything else, and then click on the button "Filter NPCs". Then you will see in your map only rare NPCs that drop missing mounts and you won't get notifications for the rest of NPCs.
Hit Escape > interface > addons > rarescanner > NPC FILTERS. It h as a drop down for all the continents/categories and you can tick/untick whatever you want to get alerts for. Reply reply
