Honestly I'd say Season one has the more stable Quality while Season 2 has the better individual episodes. I mean Ultimate Enemy is the high point of the series but season two especially in the later half gets a bit more unstable as far as quality goes and that only continues into Season 3 where over all quality takes a nose dive IMO.
