22 gru 2012 · I have a Ranger dual axle trailer with cool hubs. Worked perfectly since I got the boat in 2000. Not wanting to change to greased hubs! How do I maintain these! I got a small oil leak on one wheel.
18 paź 2020 · Ranger has no complete hub assemblies in stock but Marsha gave me several options to explore. I immediately called Daemon at Anglers Choice Marine to source the rest of the parts needed to complete my cool hub maintenance.

8 maj 2005 · My 2006 ranger trailer has cool hubs. The new cool hubs are sold as a single unit and have an easy fill cap. I just had one replaced. I would suggest going this route as each one starts to leak. The old system for me was a nightmare. The new ones are really user friendly. hope this helps, Rich
To determine the correct replacement bearings, races and seals for the oil bath cool hubs on your Ranger Boat Trailer you will want to remove one of the hub assemblies so that you can take note of the part numbers on the existing components.
25 kwi 2011 · The only other things you should do is to use red rtv gasket maker on the outer edge of the seals to stop oil leaking there. Also you should put a light coating of oil on the inner lips of the seals and a light coat on the inner spindle where the seal rides.
