26 maj 2016 · I recently decided to perform a removal and inspection of the cool hubs and bearings on my 1998 Ranger Trail boat trailer (1998 Ranger Trail D4600). I’ve documented the entire process of Cool Hub Removal and Inspection here, I hope it helps walk you through this basic maintenance procedure.
To determine the correct replacement bearings, races and seals for the oil bath cool hubs on your Ranger Boat Trailer you will want to remove one of the hub assemblies so that you can take note of the part numbers on the existing components.
Guys: Been through this on multi UFP/ Vault Hubs. 2014 Ranger Trail. All advice on here is correct. But, do yourself a favor and go to UFP/ Vault site/ see link below/ and know what the parts are and how to disassemble and reassemble before tackling. Study the diagram.
8 paź 2019 · I already contacted ranger and I know i can get the parts needed to do a full swap. which comes out around 155 USD each. (206 canadian) for the complete hub / rotor assembly. I also read that the 2004 and earlier style cool.
30 lis 2015 · I have a 2001 tandem trailer with the cool hubs. Noticed I have a rear seal leaking. I've maintained them pretty well over the years but this is the first time I've had to replace one. Thought I would go ahead and do all four since I'm done for the season. Anyone have a link to where they purchased theirs from. Thanks Guys

25 kwi 2011 · The seals are Tie Down part #81316 (2.25" seals for use on 3,000lb Cap Hubs). They are two to a package and sell for ~$10. Now your hub is back together and ready to go back on the spindle....
