6 maj 2015 · 0W20 is the required oil for optimal engine performance and protection. Note the operative words ‘required', ‘performance', and ‘protection'. The chart then shows 0W20, and 0W20 only, across all operating temperatures.

26 maj 2023 · i am quite a believer that the subaru engine can run on thin oil, i had 2018 model and when I tried 5w30 on warm climate, straight away can tell how the performance feel restrained compared to 0w20.
8 lip 2014 · maybe your 2004 has a slightly smaller oil pan, but my 2002 owners manual says the H6 EZ30D cars get "6.0 US quarts = 5.7 liters" (I even wrote it on the engine cover in chaulk at my first oil change) and after a week or two I might add 8 more ounces.
