9 lut 2012 · If I understand right, deprecated means it shouldn't be used anymore, because it has been replaced by a better alternative, or just because it has been abandoned. Obsolete means it doesn't work anymore, was removed, or doesn't work as it should anymore.

The software itself is usually described by whatever state it's actually in: e.g., unsupported if help (support) is no longer available for an old version, or abandoned if the maintainers no longer work on it, etc. Source: Software developer :) –
