Racehorse Rehoming Centre is a UK registered charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of ex racehorses.
Donated Feed Package Arrives. Donated Feed Arrives from Rowen Barbary. A pallet of donated feed from Rowen Barbary Horse Feeds arrives at the Racehorse Rescue Centre this morning including specialist feed for Peak. This will see us through until the donations from Facebook are released in two to three weeks.
We provide rest, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming thereby relieving trainers and owners of the task of securing these horses a safe and secure environment outside racing for the remainder of their lives.
The Racehorse Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre is a lifeline for ex-racehorses. When a trainer, owner or head of a syndicate is no longer able to keep a horse for various reasons, the Centre will step in and provide a lifeline for the horse.
We provide a lifeline for horses who need time to adjust to a life after racing. By supporting The Racehorse Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre, you will be directly helping us provide a life after racing through our rehabilitation, retraining and sanctuary programmes.
The Racehorse Rescue Centre is a registered charity No. 1150864 based in Carlisle, serving the whole UK and is an Approved Retraining Establishment for the care of ‘vulnerable or unwanted’ former racehorses, by the Retraining of Racehorses (ROR).
