27 cze 2024 · If some auto-backup (or any) program grabs that closed .QDF file, Quicken cannot complete the backup. If that applies here, you need to alter your approach: either insure that there is no other software trying to access your Quicken file, or do not backup directly to Dropbox (or whatever).
Failing to do so may result in an incomplete save. When restoring your file on the new computer, please make sure you direct the restored file to your \Documents\Quicken folder. Going to other locations may cause Windows to reject the file, especially if Windows Defender is turned on.
