The SOPFEU’s interactive maps provide a visual overview of the situation in forests across Quebec. Whether you are looking to find out about fire danger, fire location, preventive measures, or intensity, you will have a clear picture of current conditions in the forest.
Intended for First Nations, this tool enables you to follow the evolution of forest fires in the territory in real time, as well as alert states. It includes the latest data, as well as information on evacuations underway in First Nations communities in Quebec and Labrador.
The fire danger forecast is available at 9 h 16 AM. The active fires are updated every 5 minutes.
Instructions: Map Navigation. Keyboard users: When the map is in focus, use the arrow keys to pan the map and the plus and minus keys to zoom. The arrow keys will not pan the map when zoomed to the map extent.
