15 sty 2021 · A vertical seemed like the only choice for getting on HF and I installed a Cushcraft R3 vertical on the flat roof at the back of the house, a very unusual vertical for 10/15/20 meters with decent, not great, reviews on eham.net, but it was a breakthrough antenna at the time.
15 paź 2020 · While the R3 is not the only antenna you will need, it is a great antenna for 10 thru 20 meters. Unlike competitors, it is more efficient and doesn't require a tuner. It has a variable capacitor built in that is remote controlled from the shack. There are also modifications available for the R3.

This is an update to a previous review about the Skymaster III 5 band Cubex quad. The performance of this antenna has been superb to say the least. Continues to amaze me and out performs any antenna I have. The technical support behind the antenna is excellent.
