Pueblo’s water system allows us to drink from any public tap with a high assurance of safety. The Board of Water Works protects the health of all in our community by treating water to meet rigorous federal and state water quality standards.
Payments made after 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday or 11:30 a.m. on Saturday will result in service being reconnected on the next business day. Accounts that have had water disconnected for 7 days or greater require an appointment for reinstatement.

The Customer Assistance Referral and Evaluation Services (CARES) Program was developed in 2010 through a partnership between Pueblo Water, the City of Pueblo, United Way of Pueblo County and Catholic Charities to aid residential Pueblo families in need of utility assistance.
