Northwood is known for its beautiful lakes and we are so lucky to have three public beaches to enjoy. Beaches are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day to Northwood Residents only . Recreation Staff will monitor beaches throughout the day to ensure a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy!

The NHDES Public Beach Inspection Program monitors coastal beaches and many popular inland beaches regularly throughout the summer months for water-borne pathogens in order to evaluate the potential for health risks.
NHDES also provides a Healthy Swimming Mapper with current advisories and alerts for swimming places in New Hampshire.
