Section 252 of Pub. L. 103–160 provided that: “(a) General Rule.—In conducting or supporting clinical research, the Secretary of Defense shall ensure that— “(1) women who are members of the Armed Forces are included as subjects in each project of such research; and
Upon the effective date established by subsection (b), section 571 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994 [Pub. L. 103–160] (10 U.S.C. 654 note) is amended by striking subsections (b), (c), and (d).”
