If you have custom firmware installed already and want to update to 5.00-m33 download the file below and extract it.
17 paź 2008 · Changes: - 4.01 to 5.00 - Bug fix: when changing speed in xmb, and the psp turned the brightness to 0 automatically the speed was reseted to 222 again. Note to pspstates plugin users: this plugin won't work in this firmware due to it being made specifically for 4.01. Running it in 5.00 M33 can cause problems, wait until an update of plugin.

If you are on 5.50 GEN-B1 and want to update to 5.50 GEN-D3, you should update to 5.50 GEN-B2 manually. Then, use this section.
22 paź 2008 · If you enable it in recovery, you could for example dump 5.01 firmware, copy the version.txt from it to the flash, and bypass firmware check restrictions like those that may be in psn, etc.
