Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psalm 90 has a unique superscription; it is a “prayer of Moses, the man of God.” We may ask how the content of Psalm 90 relates to the superscription, and in this case, we find a strong connection between verse 13 and a famous moment in Moses’s career.
As echoed in other parts of Scripture (Hebrews 4:13), God is able to see all things, including secret sins (Psalm 90:5–8). Because of human sin (Romans 5:12), our lives end like a soft, fading puff of breath.
25 lis 2019 · Psalm 90:1 is one of these. It is noted as the beginning verse of a prayer of Moses. I will share the Hebrew words below (in the Hebrew alphabet along with pronunciation), as well as a little explanation from the Hebrew lexicon from Brown-Driver-Briggs (BDB).
What Psalm 90 means. In this psalm, there are 3 words for God: *Lord, *LORD and God. They are 3 different words in the Hebrew Bible. Hebrew is the language that the *Jews spoke when they wrote the psalms. Jews are people who were born from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their children. In verses 1 and 17,there is the word Lord.
