Auto-detects game patches already downloaded (search in PS3_UPDATE, PS3_EXTRAS, and in the default download path) and show them in gray.

10 lis 2024 · OFW is official firmware made by Sony. Use this for normal updates. CFW is a custom firmware made by hackers. CFW is available however only works on 3.55 and below. 999 is not necessarily a firmware, but it allows the PS3 to go to any update version that supports your PS3. Changes maximum upgrade version to "999".
1 lut 2011 · Here's what I did on my CECH-2501A model PS3: Go to Sony's website and download a copy of the 3.56 firmware. Move dl'ed firmware file to FAT32 formatted Flash drive (or whatever you want to use). Note: create a folder named "PS3" on your media and inside that create a folder named "UPDATE". No quotation marks obviously. Is it case sensitive?
