10 lis 2023 · So, as the subject implies, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and after doing so, I ran into some very frustrating issues. Before I get into the problem, I'll list what I am running for my media server setup: - PS3 Slim 150 Gig Model - Wired Connection - Sony VAIO Laptop - Media stored on a 1.5 TB WD My Passport Ultra - PMS So the problem is this.
The problem seems to be that my PS3 was previously running on a DEX firmware (Rebug). I did not know that. But a PS3 with DEX firmware cannot be updated with a standard firmware (REX). Since I updated my PS3 Slim with Sony's 3.56 patch I've had stuttering issues with all the movies I'm wirelessly streaming from my PC using PS3 Media Server. The only thing that's changed with my setup is the addition of the 3.56 patch and I can't figure out what else might be causing this.

28 maj 2020 · As the subject line indicates, UMS has suddenly refused to see either my PS4 or PS3 after I have used it for years. (I use a wired connection the PS3 more often, since I have experienced less lag on it and fewer issues in general.)
2 kwi 2010 · It was fine earlier in the week, and today I did the firmware upgrade, and now I can't get it to connect. Cannot think of anything else that I've changed. Tried resetting the modem, router, rebooting computer/PS3.
