PS3 Super Slim - The BEST PS3 model for longevity for the following reasons: Maximum airflow and manual disc drive. Owning all 3, and having more than a few fattys die on me, this model was initially my least favorite but is now used as my main console to play on.
The super Slims seem a bit less reliable to me because of the inverse to what I wrote above. It's Sony now packing everything they can into the smallest, cheapest product possible to add a last bit of sales interest and profit while building a PS3 is cheaper than ever.

PS3 Slim is the best combination of reliability and performance. Superslim uses less power but feels very cheap in comparison to Slim. PS3 Fat is the most iconic and collectible of course, but tends to be hard to maintain and is the least reliable.
