21 lut 2023 · Below I'll show you the procedure that will allow you to stream directly through the OBS bypassing HDCP on the PS3. IMPORTANT!!! I don't know if this method works on other capture cards from Avermedia, the model that definitely works is the Live Gamer HD C985. The software will show "No Signal".
10 lis 2024 · Get an hdmi splitter for that console, some of which can bypass HDCP. This or use component cables or a PS2toHDMI dongle. So nothing software side relating to CFW I can use to bypass this? Its the only way i'm afraid, for the PS3 its hardware related. This one is only $14.99.
19 lis 2020 · In theory it only requires that /setting/display/0/hdcp be set to 0 in xregistry.sys. However in retail cex console this setting is ignored. Afaik the AV manager (sysmgr running in lv1) is responsible for communicating with hdmi, it can disable HDCP if passed a specific command to set hdmi.
First of all, there's a difference between an HDMI switch (allows you to connect multiple devices to one monitor) and an HDMI splitter (allows you to connect the same device to multiple monitors). It's only the latter that can strip HDCP.
Finally figured out how to bypass the HDCP to stream and record PS3 footage! Made a quick tutorial for those interested! Funny enough I never had this issue with my PS3 and EZcap 280 as soon as I plugged it in it was able to record. But I have heard a lot of people that were having issues with HDCP.
4 mar 2015 · I currently have a roxio pro HD game capture which does capture in 1080 for the 360 xbox one and ps4. I have read if you can bypass the HDcp on the ps3 you can record in 1080 this as well....
