Są to ostatnie modele tzw. fat, czyli grubych wersji PS3 (dla każdego regionu). Są, można by powiedzieć, kopią modeli z HDD 40GB, czyli brak obsługi SACD, gier dla PS2, brak czytnika kart flash i tylko dwa porty USB. Sprzedawane z HDD 80GB i 160GB.
16 lip 2008 · I still think the PS3 is good value for money as both a games console and blu-ray player. The 80GB HD doesn't really make a difference to me as I just use a 160GB Western Digital USB passport device to store all my movies/music etc and I doubt it would be enough to entice new comers, that's the job of games like MGS, FFXIII, LBP etc.
The main difference besides the HD size and accoutrements, is the 160gb model has wi-fi built in. I am not sure that I would need or even use it. Is it that useful or beneficial to have?

I've had my 160gb PS3 for about 5 years now, and have more than run out of room on multiple occasions. Are there any major benefits to the new models over my fatty? I don't really have any noise issues that I can tell, and she's been loyal to me since day 1.
