16 lip 2008 · I still think the PS3 is good value for money as both a games console and blu-ray player. The 80GB HD doesn't really make a difference to me as I just use a 160GB Western Digital USB passport device to store all my movies/music etc and I doubt it would be enough to entice new comers, that's the job of games like MGS, FFXIII, LBP etc.

Backwards compatible models come at 60GB (CECHA/CECHC), 80GB (CECHE) and 20GB (CECHB), if the box of the console is one of those sizes then it is most likely that its a SHINY PS3.
CECH-C(XX) and CECH-E(XX) are fairly similar except for the 60 and 80gb hdd respectively, these both have a chrome trim and a chrome finish, but these both lack hardware ps2 compatibility. These have software backwards compatibility with ps2 games.
