16 lip 2008 · I still don't really get the backwards compatibility thing. Surely you buy the PS3 to play the new PS3 games and Blu-Rays? If you want to play PS2 games, you'd be much better off getting a cheap new PS2 or even a second hand one off ebay...
I'm going to buy a PS3 soon and I need a list of game sizes so I know what HDD to get for an upgrade. Seems like looking on the PS Store site doesn't work, I looked up WWE 2K14 and it only showed the newer games for the PS4. Any help?

18 sty 2009 · The 80gb's that were first released, up to and including the Metal Gear Solid 80gb Bundle ARE backward compatible with PS2 games thru software emulation. The 80gb and 160gb that are currently for sale are NOT backward compatible with PS2 games.
So I’m planning on getting a ps3 20 or 60 Gigabyte but I also geared that there’s an 80 Gigabyte version that plays PS2 games but I want to know does….
