Hard to get mechanic to trouble shoot since it only manifest in the morning. By the time I get to the workshop, the problem wont reappear. For the moment, I suspect it's the fuel pump.

14 sie 2006 · In neither car does the fuel gauge read linearly. I can confirm for a fact that the 1/4 mark corresponds to 1/2 tank of petrol left. Try it, when the gauge reads about 1/4, pump a full tank of petrol and compare the volume of fuel pumped to the fuel tank size of 50 litres.
26 lut 2015 · Check fuel supply from fuel pump, fuel filter (maybe clogged), if you take out fuel filter and too much dirt came out from it, then high possibility your injectors maybe clogged too. Get it cleaned. Check fuel pressure regulator that is at the end of the fuel rail.
7 mar 2005 · Usually just the fuel gauge that's faulty. Just changed my fuel gauge and tachometer over the weekend, same prob as you described. The fuel gauge cost RM135, installed myself. If the float is faulty, it won't show the proper reading when your petrol is full or half tank.
9 lip 2009 · First modification - Transplant 4G93T 1.8 GSR Engine to my car. Not much modification was done - just enjoy the stock standard 1.8 GSR which produced 181WHP dynoed that time. At last the 4G93T Engine is blown due to overboost as my turbo actuator are faulty!
