10 lis 2020 · In my most recent playthrough, all my doctor's offices (for all departments) are on the first floor, along with reception and my emergency room. The lab (all three) is right behind the emergency room. Radiology, my future helipad, and admin rooms are on the top floor. Hospitalization are on the floors in-between. #1.

try building a hospital with a central "service tower". In the tower, put all your departments that service others: admin, pathology, radiology, medical Labs, etc. Then, in the surrounding 'base' of the hospital (starting from floor 1), you can out your specialist departments.
If you go with the 64 tile map you WILL have to utilize multiple floors. With the 96 tile map you can get everything in just 2 floors if you do it right. I tend to play on 96 tiles because it gives you a little extra room for decorative stuff outside the hospital.
16 wrz 2022 · I will utilise to three levels of layout design: micro, referring to the layout of items within rooms, intermediate is room placement within a department, and macro, referring to the location of departments within the hospital. Each of these levels contribute differently to time pressures, depending on how well or badly they are designed.
#1. schwammal Oct 28, 2019 @ 9:36am. Hi :) - for the Emergency Unit I would recommend to book the whole ground floor, a couple trauma centers near the street for a short ambulance arrival later on. - the rest is on you, although it is nice to keep the departments together.

Surgery department operating theater across the hallway: A major philosophy when building your hospital should be to have the radiology department located in a spot where it is equally accessible for all departments.
