16 wrz 2022 · I will utilise to three levels of layout design: micro, referring to the layout of items within rooms, intermediate is room placement within a department, and macro, referring to the location of departments within the hospital. Each of these levels contribute differently to time pressures, depending on how well or badly they are designed.
10 lis 2020 · In my most recent playthrough, all my doctor's offices (for all departments) are on the first floor, along with reception and my emergency room. The lab (all three) is right behind the emergency room. Radiology, my future helipad, and admin rooms are on the top floor. Hospitalization are on the floors in-between. #1.
19 sty 2023 · Before opening a specialized department, it is best to have your first Trauma Rooms built, as well as at least knowing where you want Intensive Care. You don't have to staff these rooms, but you need them ready.
If you want to be prepared for the events, Crimson's tip to double the number (10 TC) is a good tip. If not, then anything between 4 and 6 is fine. As Crimson said, the needs of your hospital changes along the gameplay, so it's hard to start building one hospital and just add more stuff.

Title says basically all, I played lots of management games in my life but I'm having some troubles finding out shortcuts, advanced functions/menus and good layouts. Any good beginner's guide up to date with the game? I've bought all the dlcs.
Really good guide! I definitely need to plan ahead more because I quickly lose cohesion as I expand, and suddenly people are having to walk long distances for everything. Only tip I would add is a bit of a shortcut... generally you will only ever get patients for departments you have built.
