10 lip 2013 · I picked up PAV to use as a stereo pre amp. They made a Proceed PRE which was the 2 ch version. The funny things is you can probably find the PAV much cheaper than the PRE as the latter is a nice stereo preamp while the former is seen as an obsolete HT piece. One of the best bargains around because of this.
1 sty 2005 · Well the Proceed AVP2 is one of the best ever pre/pro to date! I have a AVP2 and it is by far the best improvement to my system. The AVP2 is a amazing 2 channel pre amp and when used as a dac it is better then most high end cd players on the market. There are no software problems, No relay clicking just pure sound quality.

I owned the original AVP since 1999 with Proceed's HPA-2 and HPA-3 amps. Was not exactly impressed with the amp's but was very impressed with the AVP's easy use and great sound quality for both music and video.
16 paź 2002 · Proceed AVP and AVP2 upgrade. Currently own an Acurus ACT III processor, but use a Resolution Audio CD55 run balanced direct into power amp for music listening. I've had the Proceed AVP in my system for a few days on a trail run. It's a good buy, and sounds great in DD.

18 sie 2005 · I had the AVP ,and upgraded to the AVP2. Of all the pre/pros I heard, it was undoubtedly the best for music. On HT the picture was less clearcut. I love the naturalness and openness of the sound quality, but agree that the detail; retrieval and panning is probably not as fast as some others.
