24 sie 2023 · Just checked. For my Diamond Princess cruise in less than 2 weeks, when I clicked on "view", I still got a blank screen (been showing blank screen for 1+ month). For my cruise starting in 26 days, of the 5 port, 2 ports blank screens, 2 ports in Japanese, and only the Otaru port is working (not blank screen and in English).

On the back of this thread I’ve just downloaded all the port guides now for our Norway Cruise 😃 Did try to download the Southampton (London) port guide but wouldn’t load 🤷♀️ it was just out of curiosity to see how Princess cover 2 places I’m very familiar with tbh (I’m from UK)
10 wrz 2022 · In September we were on Princess on a 12 day cruise and they flat out refused to give me the port guides. I asked at the shore excursions desk, customer service, and at the internet center. The excuse I was given for not providing the printed port guides was saving paper and COVID (everyone's favorite nonsense excuse).
7 maj 2017 · We have no experience where you are, but in Europe we found the Princess port guides not very useful. We always do our own research in advance. We have found the Princess port talks to be useful and not sales pitches for their shops and tours. These are held in the theater and are also repeated on the cabin TV's.
10 wrz 2022 · We just got off the Sky Princess yesterday and they did hav Port Guides available on a rack in the Shore Excursion desk area. But as others have mentioned here, they are not really that helpful, at least not like they were years ago.
24 gru 2019 · Just checked and apparently they've not sailed to Hawaii. The port guides include the following itineraries: Can/NE; Mediterranean; Panama Canal; Transatlantics. We met Tom and his wife on at least one of the latter and have made use of many of his guides.

19 lis 2023 · In Livorno, Princess shuttle bus is free and drops you off at Piazza del Municipio. You cannot walk in the port area because it's an industrial port. In Barcelona, Princess shuttle bus is $10 and drops you off in front World Trade Center. If you take the Port Bus it's 4 Euros round trip and also drops you off in front of the World Trade Center.
2 sie 2023 · So sorry to hear this info. I used Tom’s Guides for a Mediterranean cruise and a Canada trip. His info was invaluable. I do have most of the New England/ Canadian guides saved as PDF downloads incIuding the Charlottetown driving one. I can try to upload if anyone wants them.
