12 mar 2015 · My thoughts: well, I say Prime Guard and Premium Guard, Hastings, Federated and Fram are good filters. Purolators have gottten better since the “tear o later days”. I cut hundreds of those apart also.

20 lip 2019 · These comparisons are of new filters; I'd like to see examinations of how oil filters hold up after their normal use. The forums on Bob the Oil Guy's web site often show a filter cut open after so many miles of use, but rarely in comparison with others.

NF octane booster was more practical as it is 300ml in a bottle and £16 a bottle (cheaper if bought in bulk). Smooth power delivery. Feels slightly faster. Less anxiety about fitment corrosion. Also, an observation was that the peak boost increased from 1.3 bar to 1.5 bar (and briefly 1.6 on lower gear acceleration).
