29 paź 2005 · The supplier states that when installing the replacement coil on a Model A, the coil should be mounted (and wired) so that the Positive terminal is on the passenger side. I have a small wiring diagram of a Model A, but it is not very detailed.

27 wrz 2019 · Red and black wires are from the junction box on the firewall. Coil is marked + and-. If pos. ground, the red wire is usually from the ignition switch to the grn + side of coil. The power (-) lead is from one of the terminal box screws.
23 maj 2013 · The Model A ignition system consists of the battery, amp guage, ignition switch, coil, distributor, spark plugs, and wires connecting these parts. A failure in any part means no spark to the plugs. The coil always has 6 volts at the primary terminal and the coil is connected to the points when the ignition switch is turned on.
