Predator wood shafts are great (not so much the Revo - Revo feels DEAD). If you don't want the tip diameter to go below 12.75mm, the 314-3 is a great option. The Z-3 is 11.80mm.
29 mar 2017 · I play with a Predator Roadline and have the 314-2 shaft and the Vantage. I got to try the Revo shaft and absolutely loved it. I love the fact that it is so super smooth and hard to ding.
It's hard to find a comprehensive review, about the cue. So I'll ask here in hopes that someone has experience with it and it's original Predator ONE shaft. I'm thinking of buying an Aspire 1-3 or 1-5. With plans way later on to upgrade the shaft to a REVO 12.4.
I thought the McDermott played great, had very low deflection(as good as predator) and more feel than the predator as it uses softer materials at the joint and ferrule(its some kind of heavy duty plastic I think).
