24 cze 2002 · The sheet from PPG says the compatible top coats for K36 includes Deltron (DBU) Universal Basecoat. It also says that K36 must be sealed before applying DU color, Black DAU color, or Black DBC color, nothing about the DBU color.
31 gru 2009 · k36 is not designed to be used as a sealer, although you could reduce it and use it as one. Why are you using such expensive product on a gas pump? I would use ppg's Omni line, still a very good product at a much cheaper price. I would use mp 170 epoxy primer over sandblasted parts.
22 mar 2008 · I'm not familiar with K38, but K36 is a high build type primer (similar to the old feather fill) which is used to build the surface and enables you to flatten it, where the dp is an epoxy primer, which also can be cut with a DT reducer or equivalent to be used as a sealer before you paint.
Look up the formula for the topcoat color and identify the recommended G-shade or Spectral Grey primer-sealer. Mix and apply Primer-Sealer according to the Product Data Sheet for detailed instructions.
